Welcome to Snake River Library's After School Book Club!
We invite all students in 2nd through 6th grade to join us for an afternoon of books, creativity, and fun. Whether you're an avid reader or just discovering your favorite stories, there's a place for you here!
At Book Club, we explore exciting genres while building a love of reading through crafts, games, STEM activities, book discussions, and other hands-on learning experiences. We also encourage kindness, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and a positive attitude in everything we do.
Our goal is simple: to inspire a lifelong love of reading and help every Book Clubber feel welcome at the library.
How to Join
Joining Book Club is easy! Just follow these three simple steps:

Show up at the designated time and location.

Let the front desk know it's your student's first time attending Book Club.

Who is
Book Club for?
Book Club is open to all students in 2nd–6th grade, regardless of which school they attend.
Snake River School Bus Riders

Students are met at the bus island and escorted safely to the library.

Before Book Club begins at 4:30 p.m., students may check out books or enjoy a kid-friendly movie.

Parents/guardians must pick up students promptly at 5:30 p.m.

Transportation home is not provided.
Students from Other Schools or Non-Bus Riders

Students will need transportation to and from Snake River Library.

Please arrive by 4:15 p.m. to mingle, wiggle, and giggle before Book Club begins at 4:30 p.m.

Parents/guardians must pick up students promptly at 5:30 p.m.
What to Expect

Book Club meets 4:30–5:30 p.m.

Arrive by 4:15 p.m. if not riding the school bus.

Name tags are provided each meeting.

Colored wristbands help students identify their group and group leader.

Students can ask their group leader for help at any time.

Book Club ends promptly at 5:30 p.m.

Transportation home is not provided.
