Here at the Snake River Library we strive to ignite an incurable desire for reading. What can we say...we LOVE books! Books bring knowledge, adventure, new worlds, new ideas, epic journeys, suspense, emotion, wonder and so much more. As a bonus, in today's world there is more than one way to enjoy a book. There are eBooks for the minimalist who likes everything at their fingertips. There are physical books for those who love the page-turning satisfaction of holding an adventure in their hands. And last, but definitely not least, are audiobooks!
Audiobooks are a great way to not only enjoy books when our hands are otherwise occupied, but they can spark a little-ones interest as well. Children are like sponges, absorbing the world around them. They are also wiggly and prefer engagement. Just think how many books they could relish-in while doing activities they enjoy.
